Rainy Day Wedding: Mallory + Brent
Some of the prettiest weddings in Georgia are held at the Thompson House and Gardens, an elegant antebellum farmhouse. The photographer shared the details on this pretty wedding “Mallory was planning a stunning outdoor fall wedding. The ceremony site would have purple hydrangeas and sterling roses on the arbor draped with sheer white fabric. Chandeliers would be hanging from the arbor as well. There was only one little problem…it rained. And not just a little bit. It poured! So, we changed our plans. The outdoor arbor stayed decorated, just in case the rain stopped, and the ceremony was moved into the ballroom. Slowly, the rain began to let up. And eventually, after the ceremony, we were able to go outside and utilize that beautiful arbor for pictures. We broke out the umbrellas and braved the wet grass for some amazing images.” So many brides are afraid of rain on their wedding day, and while it might not be exactly what they envision, if you have a good plan B you will be able to pull off the wedding you dreamed of. This beautiful wedding is proof of that! Thanks to Andie Freeman Photography for sharing these wonderful photos as well as her insight into the day. Worried about rain on your wedding day.
